Meadowpark First Class For Fortonpark JW who was very recently crowned won the Dog CC, his fourth plus Reserve Best in Show and Best Opposite Sex. Breed specialist judge George Wilson (Ursine) had 108 entries with 31 absentees plus 2 withdrawn across the 24 classes of the Championship Show held on the Saturday.įor comparison there were two breed specialist judges at the 2018 show with Julie Wakeland (Bramikdel) drawing 50 dog entries with 12 absentees plus 1 withdrawn and Anne Gerrard (Torralbaz) drawing 79 bitch entries with 23 absentees making a total of 129 entries with 35 absentees. Last weekend it was the BMD Club of Scotland annual weekend event at the usual venue, Springwood Park Kelso albeit at the newly named "Border Events Centre". This year the BMD Club of Wales are holding their Open Show in conjunction.įor comparison the entry at WKC 2018 was 48 entries with 17 absentees for all-rounder judge Steve Hall. The Bernese entry for Welsh Kennel Club 2019 has been announced as 61 exhibits giving 62 entries for all-rounder Caroline Friend-Rees.
